Skid Row Won’t Reunite with Sebastian Bach, Despite Fan Demands

Scotti Hill, the guitarist of the band Skid Row, has made it clear that there will be no reunion with the band’s former lead singer, Sebastian Bach. Despite calls from fans and Bach’s own expressed interest in returning to the group, Hill insists that he will not sacrifice his well-being and peace for the sake of the band’s legacy.

In an appearance on the Appetite for Distortion podcast, Hill explained that the decision has nothing to do with fans or the band’s success, but rather about preserving his own quality of life. "I don’t want to have food poisoning every day of the week," he declared, citing the toxic nature of a potential reunion with Bach. "That’s all it is. It’s not about the music, it’s not about the fans, it’s not about the band. It’s about me and my personal well-being."

Forgotten Frontmen: 27 Lead Singers Fans Don’t Remember

Fans have been clamoring for Bach’s return to the band, citing the commercially successful period of Skid Row’s history when Bach was at the helm. However, Hill remains committed to moving forward without the singer. "If you don’t like Skid Row without that singer, you don’t have to listen," he said. "And on the flip side of that, if you love that singer, if you love both of us, then go see him, go see him."

The Search for a New Singer

The band is currently on the hunt for a new singer, with Hill stating that they have a "nice list of people" to consider. "We’ve got a nice list of people that we’re gonna sit down with," he revealed. "A lot of people are getting in touch with us and some of them are really good. Some of them are not really good. But with YouTube and Instagram and such, you can go out and find people quite easily."

Assuming Skid Row doesn’t rehire Bach or any of their previous frontmen, the band’s next singer will be the seventh in the group’s history.
